Harri Jones today announced that long term major partner, Hastings Deering, has extended their support as they unveil their striking new livery and launch into the 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup Australia season.

In what will be the third year of a stand-out partnership between Hastings Deering and Jones, season 2024 is shaping up to be bigger than ever before. 2022 saw Jones win the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship and subsequently secure an invite to compete on the world stage in Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland in 2023. Returning full-time on home soil for season 2024, Jones’ sites are set on claiming another Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship; and Hastings Deering plan to be by his side again every step of the way.

“I’m so excited to be extending my partnership with Hastings Deering,” said Jones.

“Over the last couple of years, we have achieved so much together, and I truly feel a part of the Hastings Deering family. They love all things performance, machinery and talent, and they have a passionate team of over 3500 that have supported me and backed me every step of the way,” said Jones.

“It’s fantastic to work so closely with great partners and I feel really fortunate to be able to continue building on my career with the support of such a strong team behind me.”

As one of the top Cat® dealers globally, the partnership with Hastings Deering offers new opportunities and pathways for Jones. With a history dating back over 90 years, Hastings Deering is a values-driven organisation committed to providing pathway opportunities for the next generation.

Returning home after a year living and racing in Europe, Jones is determined to capitalise on his experience and make his mark on home soil.

“Last year opened my eyes to what is possible in these cars,” said Jones.

“It was such an incredible and intense racing program, competing in two separate Championships. I’ve evolved a lot as a driver both technically and mentally. I learnt from the best in the business, and I delved into the heart of the motorsport world and extracted every bit of knowledge I could. This year, I have one goal and that is to claim back the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Championship.”

The 2024 Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia kicks off with Round 1 at the Australian F1 Grand Prix. Round 1 will be televised across both Paid (Foxtel and Kayo) and Free to Air (Channel 10) TV.
