EXCITING USA ADVENTURE FOR PORSCHE AUS YOUNGSTER BAYLEY HALL

Bayley Hall is currently in the United States of Amercia where he will take to the Laguna Seca circuit in the US version of the Porsche Carrera Cup this weekend.

Halls schedule for the next few weeks is hectic to say the least, bouncing between Australia and the US, this weekend its Luguna Seca, he arrives back in Australia on Wednesday and heads straight to Mount Panorama in time for the McElrea team track walk, races in his Aussie Porsche for the Bathurst 1000 event, then straight after that heads back to the States to Circuit of the Amercias for another round in the US Porsche Carrera Cup alongside the Formula 1, then straight back home to the Gold Coast for another round of the Aus Carrera Cup for the GC600.

He has however had time to do a bit of looking around and at some amazing Porsche Racing history, Bayley also met up American Porsche driver ace Bruce Canepea, certainly a highlight to his US trip so far.

We asked Bayley for his run down on the exciting Laguna Seca circuit, “with the new surface the track has amazing grip. Turn 6 is big commitment. The famous corkscrew of Laguna Seca is so cool to drive. You come up to the blind hill with only the sky in you line of sight and you need to 100% commitment to be fast to coming back down through the corner to be full throttle through turn 9.”

“It is an historical track that I am so proud to race on in the Porsche North America 🇺🇸 Carrera cup with team McElrea Racing whom I race for in Australia 🇦🇺 and with the support of RAFA racing clubs with 8twleve wheeled. I looking forward to racing in the USA and look forward to more opportunities to race in Australia and internationally.”

“Thanks Velocity Magazine too for being with me since the start of my racing career.”

Hall has had his best ever Australian Porsche Carrera Cup round most recently at Sandown where he finished the three races with two second places and a third, and giving him outright honors for the Junior class and second overall, the best hs has achieved in carrera cup.
