Australia’s trusted automotive servicing, repair and tyre replacement franchise group brings the Midas touch to Queensland’s exciting Improved Production motor racing series in 2021.

The renowned Midas logo will appear on the sides of each car competing in the five round 2021 Queensland Improved Production Championship, along with a separate National Improved Production Championship event. All races will be held at exciting circuits including Queensland Raceway, Morgan Park and Lakeside Raceway.

One of the most relevant, diverse and exciting motor racing categories, this series features production based Touring Cars that have been “improved” for motor racing purposes. The diversity of Improved Production racing fields include Mazda RX7s, BMWs, Toyotas, Hondas, Nissans, Commodores and Falcons among others, ensuring that there are cars competing to suit every motor racing fan or motoring enthusiast.

The category regulations are concise yet allow quite a high level of vehicle modification. Improved Production racing is also relatively inexpensive for competitors and provides a foundation that allows for spectacularly close racing within a number of engine capacity classes, forming several exciting races within each race.

According to Ryan Deal, Midas National Operations Manager – Service, “It is great to support a state racing series that has so many mechanics and motoring enthusiasts involved. This is what Midas Auto Care is all about, bringing together automotive experts and doing the best they can technically to produce the best performing cars for our customers.

“One of our Queensland Midas Franchisees and many of our customers take part and attend these events, so we are delighted to bring the Midas touch to the 2021 Queensland Improved Production Championship, promoting Midas Auto Care stores as the destination for all servicing, repair and tyre replacement requirements,” Mr Deal stated.
