DAN POLLEY WINS AT NINGBO
PRESS RELEASE/FRD Motorsports
KCMG driver Dan Polley drove all 60 minutes to take the win of the second race at Ningbo International Circuit.
Kevin O’Hara was struck with an illness which prevented him from driving today, O’Hara and the team decided it was best he did not race today, thus giving Polley the car for the entire race.
Polley pulled out an outstanding race to bring the car home for the win, an exhausted Polley said after the race;
“A long race for myself, I’m just blessed that it stayed wet because an hour in the dry would of push me to the limit.
Towards the end, the track started to dry, and the guys on slicks started to catch up a little, I just stayed calm and brought it home for the win.”
Podium:
1st – KCMG – Dan Polley (Kevin O’Hara DNS due to illness)
2nd – PROFI-CAR TEAM S&D – Doyun Hwang/Louis Prette
3rd – PTRS – Joshua Burdon/Benny Simonsen
